At Taconic Rangers, our mission is to help players realize their baseball and academic goals. We take pride in offering the best development and college exposure program in the region for serious, committed baseball players and families.

Geographical Split+

Our structure divides the organization into Taconic Rangers North, drawing players from Dutchess, Orange, Ulster, and Northern Putnam counties, and Taconic Rangers South, recruiting talent from Westchester, Rockland, and Southern Putnam counties. This regional focus allows us to concentrate on the development and training of committed players and families within our organization.

Team Structure+

At each age level (13U, 14U, 15U, 16U, 17U), we field only one team in each geographical area. Our highest-performing players from both sides converge to play for our prestigious 17U Showcase team, led by the experienced Coach Bob Fletcher.

Player Advancement+

Setting ourselves apart from other regional travel organizations, the Taconic Rangers prioritize player development, advancement, and college exposure. There are no parent coaches; instead, the best players move up within our organization, ensuring maximum development and exposure opportunities

Experienced Staff+

Under the guidance of Coach Al Hammell on the North side, our qualified and experienced staff is committed to providing players with a comprehensive baseball and performance training experience.

Proven Track Record+

The Taconic Rangers organization, led by Coach Bob Fletcher, boasts a proven history of propelling players to collegiate and even professional baseball ranks. We've earned a stellar reputation among college baseball coaches in the Northeast region and beyond.

Summer Travel+

Our organization meticulously plans summer travel schedules at each age level, prioritizing maximum competition and college exposure. While success in tournaments is celebrated, our main focus remains on player development.

Development Focus+

Our practice structure and off-season player development programs are designed to maximize growth as players progress to the next level within their high school baseball programs and seek a college baseball home.
